The history of this Galaxy goes way back. Bought new by a family who made the trip to Detroit to buy it new, they then drove it to Florida. They used it for a number of years and a growing family.

In 1973 they sold it to a single man whose job as a salesmen took him all over the country. He put some 300,000 miles on it, and one time while in California he decided to sell it as it was on its last legs. An old retired rancher paid $300 for it and drove it to Tucson, Arizona.

On a trip down to Lake Patagonia in Arizona, it finally gave up the ghost and he just left it out in the desert with a FOR SALE sign on it. Nobody seemed to want it so it became a refuge for pack rats and rattlesnakes. It’s probably still sitting down there…maybe a little bit more worse for wear!
