I call this the “Dick Tracy” Ford. It was the same Ford coupe that the comic strip hero used to fight crime.
Tracy’s Ford no doubt survived a bit better than this one. The original gray paint is just about given up to rust color. After several hundred thousand miles of hard driving and very little, if any, upkeep and maintenance, this one is just about dead and gone.
It was originally owned by a nice little old widow lady who took real good care of it. But that all changed when she sold it for $500 to a man who just wanted to get wherever he was going fast.

So, after some 15 to 20 years of abuse, it finally just stopped running and was left for junk. Someone tried to take a tire but found it useless and then there was the botched removal of the rumble seat, where, over the years, probably hundreds of riders felt the wind in their face.
